Adobe has announced that it’s next iPad drawing and painting app is coming soon and it will be called Adobe Fresco. Adobe’s chief product officer, Scott Belsky wrote it on the blog.
This app was named as Project Gemini but got changed to Adobe Fresco. We can expect the release by the end of this year. The Adobe Fresco has been named after the Italian painting technique. Adobe Fresco will have a Live Brushes which will imitate exactly as paint does in real life. Live brushes of Adobe Fresco will use the company’s AI platform Adobe Sensei to make painting as real-life experience.
The app will also combine the features of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. It’ll support Photoshop files across Creative Cloud and it can be exported to PDF for Illustrator. The UI and toolbar will be almost similar to Adobe’s upcoming Photoshop for iPad app. If you want to give it a try to Fresco before it’s officially released, you can apply for the prerelease testing.
