Google Doodle on 12 March is celebrating the 30th birthday of world wide web(www). It was started by Tim Berners-Lee in 1989 for sharing in information among his co-workers at CERN physics laboratory in Switzerland, writes Google doodle. Today it is part of our life and unavoidable at all. From sending email, playing the game, watching movies to social media it is our daily routine to do the things with the help of internet.

Here is one thing which needs to make clear that the internet is a different thing and www is different. Internet connects different computers across the globe and is widely called a network of networks. and other devices and www is an online application which helps in accessing the information over the internet. The web uses HTTP which stands for hypertext transfer protocol for transmission of data. The web uses browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and opera to access the other websites for information. There are almost 2 billion websites running over the internet and increasing every day.
